In September 2015, Canada joined 192 other UN member states in adopting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The federal government is now developing a national strategy to implement the Agenda in a way that makes sense for Canadians from coast to coast to coast. In this webinar, we will review the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its local relevance. We will also share information about an upcoming opportunity for community foundations to participate in a consultation process which will provide the federal government with community knowledge and recommendations for the development of the national strategy. The feedback will be used to inform the national strategy so that it truly reflects the needs of our communities. [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP1BfNU_QrM&feature=youtu.be[/embed]
