Learn about the genesis of the Toronto Foundation’s Vision 2020 Program, a new pilot project that brings together over 50 young Torontonians (millennials and gen-Xers) to develop the next generation of philanthropy. Our presenters will share the strategy that includes working with local leaders to generate solutions and engagement around a collective grantmaking process to address issues that matter to them. After two years, a new cohort of philanthropists will ‘graduate’ with the knowledge, experience and tools to create an effective philanthropic strategy of their own, with their own Permanent Donor Advised Fund. The presentation will also include a discussion on how this initiative could be scalable for smaller community foundations.</span> Presenters: Aneil Gokhale, Director, Philanthropy, Toronto Foundation; Nicole Lilauwala, Development Coordinator, Toronto Foundation
