Carolyn believes in building good human relationships and sowing seeds of kindness and connection through social gatherings and events. She believes events provide shared experiences that are vital for community development, and brings her insatiable appetite to plan, organize and manage events of all kinds to her role at Community Foundations of Canada.
Carolyn loves making connections with new people and organizations, and has made many great friends through her volunteer work. CHEO, Ronald McDonald House, The Canadian Cancer Society, Terry Fox Foundation and Candelighters are just a few of the charitable organizations near and dear to her heart.
Having grown up on the water in Muskoka, Carolyn spends her free time with her husband at their cottage either with sand between her toes or in the water kayaking, boating or swimming in the summer. Skiing, curling and snowshoeing are her winter “go to” activities.
