In collaboration with the Canadian Red Cross and United Way Centraide Canada, CFC is proud to be involved in the allocation of funding. The fund is designed to help Canada’s most vulnerable populations during the COVID-19 crisis. The global pandemic has left no community untouched, and it is having a disproportionate impact on vulnerable Canadians who are less equipped to deal with its health, social and economic impacts.
ECSF will provide a much-needed boost to organizations on the frontlines, while we also continue our efforts to secure the funding and support required for the stabilization and recovery phases ahead.
Starting on May 19, CFC and participating community foundations are inviting qualified donees to apply for funding. Please consult the list of participating community foundations to see whether your community foundation is still accepting applications. Limited amounts of funding remain available, with some local foundations already exceeding their current available funding.
