Leadership Learning Community
Note: This learning community is open only to community foundations within our movement.
It is an interesting time within the community foundation movement: significant changes to giving and funding, pressure to collaborate and innovate, growth in staff — all will change how we achieve our mission.
Over 6 online discussions, this learning community is an opportunity to foster strong, sustained leadership that will help you and our organizations lead into the future. Participants who want to invest in their leadership development will explore their leadership journey, models and resources to lift their capacity. Topics include leading self, trust, reflective practice, cultural intelligence, networking and leading teams.

Session 1: Leading Self
Facilitator: Chris Moss, Leadership Specialist
This session explores the attributes of a not-for-profit leader and allows you to discover your own strengths and authentic leadership. This includes a look at personal accountability as well as the development of a personal vision, mission and set of intentions as a leader.
Assess your personal leadership strengths, blind spots and opportunities and reviewing assessment tools.
Assess the importance of authenticity and personal accountability in your leadership approach.
Identify the value of personal vision, mission, and values as a leader and begin to develop your intentions.
