On May 22 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. EDT, Community Foundations of Canada will be hosting its 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM). As a non-profit organization, our AGM is a legal requirement. More than that – particularly this year – we see it as an opportunity to come together, reflect on how our network is responding to the current experience of a global pandemic and explore the ways in which community philanthropy can play a role in reshaping the communities of tomorrow. 

With public health recommendations around physical distancing measures still in place for the foreseeable future, our 2020 AGM will be taking place online. The meeting is open to the public, including partner organizations and community foundations from abroad who may be interested in following what’s happening in Canada right now.  

Voting will be restricted to community foundations in Canada who are CFC members in good standing. We ask that all voting members assign one voting representative on behalf of their foundation. Proxy forms are available below for those who cannot attend on May 22, as are the additional documents relative to the meeting.
